There are many ways to get involved in Habitat at WashU! Our campus chapter is what you make of it, meaning you can come to as many events as you are able to. You are free to come to any of our events! If you would like a more committed role or a leadership position, check out what’s available:
Underclassmen Representatives (First-years and Sophomores, Fall Semester)
If you’re interested in learning how an SU club works and are potentially interested in applying for our executive board at the end of the fall semester, consider becoming an Underclassmen Rep! You will get a chance to plan a general body meeting, come to all of our exec meetings, and run your own projects such as our annual food drive. Currently, our application cycle has passed for this year, but look out for more info next Fall!
Advocacy Committee (Fall or Spring Semesters)
We have an advocacy committee that is responsible for advocacy and fundraising events around three times a semester. The committee will consist of about five students who will devise advocacy activities that correspond to a certain theme for each month, such as managing the programming for our annual trivia night. Committee members will learn how to engage the greater WashU community, learn logistics about SU, and get a chance to spread Habitat’s mission.
Apply for Exec (2022 Calendar Year)
Executive board position applications have passed for this year, but if you are interested in a specific position on exec, please contact us to learn more!
