What is Habitat for Humanity?
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization, and our goal is to eliminate poverty and sub-standard housing worldwide. Through its many affiliates, located around the world, Habitat brings families and groups in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.
The Washington University Campus Chapter encourages students to make a positive difference in the St. Louis community. As a Campus Chapter, our main goals are to raise funds for building Habitat homes, raise awareness about the need for affordable housing, and to build alongside future Habitat homeowners at various Habitat construction sites.
