What is Habitat for Humanity?

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization, and our goal is to eliminate poverty and sub-standard housing worldwide. Through its many affiliates, located around the world, Habitat brings families and groups in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.

The Washington University Campus Chapter encourages students to make a positive difference in the St. Louis community. As a Campus Chapter, our main goals are to raise funds for building Habitat homes, raise awareness about the need for affordable housing, and to build alongside future Habitat homeowners at various Habitat construction sites.

First GBM This Thursday!

We will be having our first GBM of the semester this Thursday at 8:30PM in DUC 234! We have a lot of really important things to discuss, so we’d like as many people to be there as possible. There will also be pizza!

Activities Fair

Wow this is a busy week! Come and check out WU Habitat at the activities fair this Wednesday from 4-6PM in the DUC. If you know anyone interested in getting involved with Habitat, tell them to come and get their name on our email list!
